Port of Huanghua  Position :  located in the southwest of Bohai Gulf.  Channel : depth / meters; length / 3 kilometers.  Temperature : annual average 12.2°, the highest temperature is July with average of 26.4°C and the lowest is January with average of - 4.7°C.  Wind : wind direction more from the southwest; max speed 31 metres per second.  Precipitation : annual precipitation is 642.6 mm and 73.4% half falls in July.  Ice : ice period covered from December to the following year February with thickness between 25 to 35 mm, which leaves no influence for vessel's navigation in the channel and terminal basis.  Fog : annual average 13 days, normally occured in autumn and winter.  Hydrology : spring and neap tide changes every half day irregularly with water level rising of 4.06 meters in the highest and -0.07 meters in the lowest, tide difference is 3.44 meters, rising tide speed 0.31 meters per second, ebb tide speed 0.26 meters per second.  Hinterland : export port of coal and coke of Shanxi.
