Port of Jinzhou  Position : 40°42'50" N 120°59'00" E  located in the north of Liaodong Bay .  Channel : depth / 8.5 meters; length/ 6 kilometers.  Temperature : annual average 10.5°.  Wind : wind direction more from the northeast  Precipitation : annual precipitation is 541.5 mm.  Ice : ice period covered from November to the following year February with thickness around 20 mm, which leaves no influence for vessel's navigation in the channel and terminal basis.  Fog : annual average 5.3 days.  Hydrology : spring and neap tide changes every half day irregularly with water level rising of 4.22 meters in the highest and -1.12 meters in the lowest, tide difference is 2.05 meters, average tide speed 0.3 meters per second.  Hinterland : the port covers parts of three provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Innermongolia.
