Port of Yingkou (Bayuquan) Position : 40°15'12" N 122°09'27" E  located in the Bohai Sea Liaodong Bay.  Channel : depth / 5.56 meters.  Temperature : annual average 8.8°, the highest temperature is 35.3°C and the lowest is - 27.3°C.  Wind : wind direction more from the southwest, average speed 3 metres per second.  Precipitation : annual precipitation is 628 mm and 52% falls in July and August.  Ice : ice period covered from November to the following year March with thickness leaves no influence for navigation .  Fog : annual average 4.4 days.  Hydrology : spring and neap tide changes every half day irregularly with water level rising of 4.27 meters in the highest and -1.58 meters in the lowest, tide difference is 2.56 meters, rising tide speed 0.96 meters per second, ebb tide speed 0.38 meters per second .  Hinterland : the port covers three provinces of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and parts of inner Mongolia.
